Our Himalayan pink salt is 100% non-irradiated; it is never exposed to any harmful ionic radiation. It is simply extracted from the earth and ground into fine crystals.

HAND-MINED IN THE HIMALAYAS – Frontier Co-op Himalayan Pink Salt is a type of rock salt (halite) that’s sourced directly from the Himalayan mountains in Pakistan. The hand-mined salt crystals range from red to pink in color.
PERFECT FOR DIRECT COOKING – Our pink salt is sized to suit many direct cooking needs. It is finely ground to the point that it can be placed directly on your poultry, meat, and fish. The high mineral content in the pink salt makes it highly flavorful.
TASTY WITH TENDER MEAT – The pink salt is best used with tender meats such as chicken, lean pork, lean beef, and turkey. It can also be used with fish. In addition, to use with meats, pink salt can be mixed in sauces, brines, and marinades.
